Frequently Asked Questions

Treat your Love Imperfect piece like you would a pair of eyeglasses: Use a gentle glass cleaner or a diluted liquid soap and a soft cloth. 

If you find you need to pack away or ship your Love Imperfect piece, do NOT wrap it directly in tissue paper, wax paper, or bubble/plastic wrap. These may stick to and/or leave marks on the resin.  First wrap the piece in paper or parchment paper, followed by whatever additional packing material you feel necessary. 

This is not ideal. It is best to not have your Love Imperfect piece hanging in direct sunlight for long periods of time (or experiencing temperature extremes). Though resin is UV resistant,  it is not UV proof, meaning it may yellow a bit if exposed for long durations. Also note that colors will fade if exposed excessively to direct sunlight for long periods. If you choose to hang your art piece outside, please do so only in a covered area and at your own risk.

Don't panic! Imperfections add character! Still concerned? Minor scratches or marks in epoxy resin can often be remedied by applying heat with a blow dryer. Keep the air moving with a back and forth motion.(DO NOT simply aim and blast! Less is more, and too much heat will damage it!) If you feel the need, with a little heat it is quite likely the epoxy will soften and fill itself in!  NOTE: Imperfections Rock! I'd just leave it! Or heat at your own risk!

How to Machine Wash:

1. Turn your shirt inside-out.
2. Separate similar colors, weight, and textures. 
3. Use mild detergent with cold water on a gentle cycle. 

(Warm water, harsh detergents, and aggressive wash cycles can damage both the garment and the image itself. Be kind to all your clothes!)

Hang-drying is always recommended, but a dryer works fine, if you follow the steps below.

1. Turn your wearable inside-out before drying.
2. Use the lowest possible heat setting or Permanent Press.
